J. SAMARO, ESQ.
Sam
has served as the legal advisor for Maryellen Lurie &
Associates, Inc., particularly on labor and employment matters,
since the firm's inception. He partnered with the firm to
produce Productive and Respectful Workplaces and has facilitated
programs with Maryellen on a variety of employment law topics.
Sam is a partner in the New Jersey law firm of Pashman Stein
and serves as labor and employment counsel to a number of
companies and public agencies, including the Passaic Valley
Water Commission, Sequa Corporation, Duferco Steel Company,
Office of the Bergen County Prosecutor, Bergen Record Corporation,
NVE, Inc., Primex Corporation, Kushner Companies and others.
Sam has received Martindale Hubbell's highest rating (av)
and has experience litigating and counseling clients on the
entire range of employment law issues, including sexual harassment,
discrimination, wrongful discharge, Fair Labor Standards Act,
whistleblower, Prevailing Wage and workplace privacy.
Sam
graduated from Rutgers College with highest honors in 1984
and from Rutgers Law School in 1988.
